Quality Inspection Manager

Location:
Lewisville, TX & Dallas, TX

Schedule:
Temp-to-hire role supporting a 24-hour / 6-day operation. Candidate must be flexible with working hours.
On-site schedule: Lewisville (Mon–Wed & Fri) and Dallas facility (Thurs).

Pay:
$55 – $58 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Quality Inspection team, setting goals and fostering a high-performance work environment.

  • Manage inspection and sampling of components, raw materials, and finished goods produced in Lewisville and by U.S. contract manufacturers.

  • Provide technical expertise on defect classification, AQL sampling plans, and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

  • Drive continuous quality improvement through data analysis, issue identification, and corrective/preventive actions.

  • Communicate inspection results and technical insights to internal teams and external suppliers.

  • Ensure proper handling and disposition of non-conforming materials.

  • Oversee inspection operations at two facilities, including direct management of the ASRS inspection team and leadership support for the R3 inspection group.

  • Maintain compliance with FDA regulations, company quality standards, and departmental procedures.

  • Manage quality systems and inspection tools such as Agile PLM, LIMS, and warehouse management systems (JDE).

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in FDA-regulated consumer products, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a scientific discipline (Master’s in Engineering preferred).

  • Strong expertise in cGMP, quality audits, statistics, testing, and manufacturing operations.

  • Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and tools such as Agile PLM, LIMS, or warehouse management systems.

  • Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments preferred.

  • ASQ certifications such as CQE or CMQ/OE preferred.

  • Proven leadership, communication, and project management skills.

  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
